BACKGROUND
Any Sodium Hypochlorite product, at any strength, is made from chlorine gas, which is then converted into a liquid. When the liquid is bottled, the gas begins to evaporate, eventually leaving the product completely. Century is unique in that we’ve developed a method of making these products last 12 months (Full Strength) and 14 months (other strengths). Hospital pharmacists consider that a long shelf life, because when they make Dakin's® on-site it usually lasts between 1 to 7 days.
Century allows distributors to purchase only the case quantities they require, with a minimum of one case. Century covers all standard shipping costs as well. We realize that a 12 or 14 month expiration period is unusual for the industry, but the chemical nature of product dictates this policy.
We appreciate your cooperation concerning this issue; please remember that Century will continue to diligently strive to safely extend the life of the product when that is scientifically justifiable.
NO RETURNS!
Due to it’s relatively short dating compared to other products, we’ve set up a
"No Returns / No Credit Issued" policy for these products only.
(This policy has been followed since Century started selling Dakin’s.)
Prior authorization must be obtained from CPI for any merchandise and/or product that is returned. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED FOR UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS.
To request a RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number, please call a Customer Service Representative at 1-866-343-2576. Credit for expired or otherwise unsellable items, whether returned to us, destroyed, or otherwise disposed of will not be allowed unless authorized by the Operations Manager at CPI.
